We Collide is a necessity for every person. Despite relationship status, history or experience, this book considers how we engage one another while working through difficult moments. We often hear how “hurt people hurt people”. Knowing this does not shield us from being hurt by someone who is hurting, no more than repeating the phrase keeps us from hurting others while we are the ones hurting.

The purpose of this book is not only to provide help after hurt, but to minimize the opportunities for more hurt by increasing our awareness of how impactful relationships can be between individuals and for the communities those individuals are connected to. (195 pages)

We Break Through was written for the person who was never told that the breaks of life do not have to break them. Dr. Hayes discusses how to find and maintain hope after a break and proposes that no matter where you are in your breaking experience, there is always a way to break through!

Dive deeper into what happens when you encounter dysfunction to the point of breaking. Explore the many ways you may potentially break and how one break could create many splitting paths. When you turn the last page, you will be equipped with new tools for your breakthrough.

This book can easily be an independent, yet collaborative read, before OR after We Collide. Where We Collide discusses how to manage conflict resolution within relationships by comparing offenses to collisions, We Break Through deals with the individual’s response to a break.

While managing a major entrepreneurial transition as the owner of a new property, Jamison Proctor must also overcome a personal conflict. It is a surprising, close to home, and dangerous conflict at that. Will he survive a backseat nightmare in time to rescue a struggling community? As the mystery unfolds, challenging the strength of his family's bond, an ally from Jamie's past and a couple of new, dependable acquaintances help him discover a magnitude of bravery he never knew he had.

This book, while fictional, dares you to recognize your bravery in the most unlikely circumstances!

As a ministry planter, pastor, preacher, teacher, leadership developer, mentor and life coach (whew!), Dr. Hayes has had a front row seat to the rise and fall of various kinds of relationships, agreements and collaborations. She is of the opinion that feelings often get in the way of successfully completing an assignment. Having feelings is great – they remind us that we are alive and should experience all that life has to offer. But unmanaged feelings can lead to mismanaged conflict which threatens the functionality of our relationships, potentially damaging our communities. We must protect our communities. Dr. Hayes believes whether you consider yourself a person of faith or not, you are part of a community that is depending on you to bring your best self to each and every relationship.

Dr. Hayes has experienced many relational collisions. The only thing she desires more than to prevent anyone else from hurling themselves into her again is to avoid hurling herself into someone else.

We Collide offers wisdom for every individual and all kinds of relationships to minimize future relational collisions and the fatalities that inevitably come with them. We collide, but we do not have to.
