Richmond, Shawn (PhD) - Dr. Richmond could not find books with characters who think like her, nor life events that represent her own, so she started writing them. She used contemporary fiction to fill that void and she enjoyed it so she continues. She’s also a biblical scholar and just completed a deep dive research project on “100 Women of the Bible”. She published her study in Goshen’s first full-color, hardback, coffee table storybook, “Say My Name”, so people can flip through the pages, learn about the women, and enjoy the story for years to come.

Akinosun, Wale - Pastor Wale (“Wah-lay”) Akinosun has led Schaumburg Community Church with his wife, Pastor Foluke (“Fo-lu-kay”), at the Chicago Parish since 1995. The church aims to impact its local community by preaching the gospel and partnering with the village of Schaumburg to provide love, leadership, and development to its people.

Carter, Takeelia - Takeelia is a woman on a mission to spread the love of God. She has authored a book that will help you discover and abide in His presence and infinite love daily. Takeelia believes that God uses her to speak hope that can only be fulfilled by Him and through Him. Through her writing, you will discover your true purpose in God and become a vessel, so that you also can grab people out of the rubble of life’s hurts, pains, and disappointments.

Charles, Samora - Samora Charles is a Physician Assistant specializing in General Surgery. She faced many challenges on her journey to medicine, but through hard work and perseverance, she was able to achieve her dream career. Her book serves as a resource to aspiring physician assistants, especially those with past or current academic difficulties. Her story is also one that will inspire and motivate others to “fail forward” in pursuit of their life goals.

Clay, Linda - Linda served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. Her second career is booming as a realtor in Virginia. It is more than a career, though … it is also a ministry. Linda prays for her clients and seeks God’s guidance on their behalf. She is now writing books to help people experience God’s love.

Crawford Jr., Harry - Harry lives near Washington, D.C. by way of Cleveland, Ohio. Harry has always had a passion for helping others. He stands strongly on his motto, “Be who you are, own who you are, love who you are”.

Frazier, William Cohen I (Dr.) - Dr. Frazier is a District Elder in the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas. He is a pastor, mental health counselor, and community leader. He is writing books to enable people to conceive and give birth to that which God has called them. His books are a must-read for anyone who is concerned about their purpose on earth, and who aspires to not be spiritually barren.

Griffin, Angelia (Dr.) - “ Dr. A” is a passionate philanthropist who serves as the Founder and CEO of IGMA, Inc. (I Give Myself Away), a charitable nonprofit organization she founded in memory of her son, William. She is writing a book to help grieving mothers achieve holistic release and healing.

Haugabrook, Tonya - Tonya is a mother of three and grandmother of eight.  She enjoys writing books to inspire and uplift others. She began writing books for children during her time as a Youth Director and teacher in youth ministry.
