Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science (HUMS2)
Five students of HUMS2 compiled their short stories into a new book, “Mission STEMPossible: Tales of a Black Holiday”. The book was made in one day!
A few months later, ten students of HUMS2 collaborated on a futuristic short story. Their book, “Virtuoso: The MS(2) Code Master”, was also published in one day!
Goshen Publisher’s “Book in a Day” project promotes collaborative writing among youth. These exceptional groups of students exceeded the publisher’s expectations with creativity, thoughtfulness, and outstanding writing skills.
Proceeds from the sale of their books will be donated to local charities. This project supports Goshen Publishers’ mission to promote literacy, and break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Washington, DC.
